tansi clothing only promoting tansi

posted 2011 Dec by Timothy Lewis

tansi,

I have made the executive decision to only promote the word "tansi." The decision was a tough one because I think its important to promote all Aboriginal languages, but the goal was stressful and costly. I was busy trying to promote all and was not sure which to tackle first. Plus trying to print all words was costly and would end up with much inventory on hand, which had to be sold at discounted prices. I spent much dollars trying to steer in that direction. I am now happier to only promote "tansi" because it is now a complete package.

I am sorry for not promoting your language, but it is an opportunity for another entrepreneur. Yesterday, near my booth, I heard a Ojibway lady say we should promote "Anin." I think that's a great idea.

Thank you,

Timothy Lewis

  • Timothy,
I still have my “peace” shirt with the little dove on it, and it remains one of my favorite shirts. I’m sorry you won’t be making more like that (such a great design), but I understand why you’ve made such a tough decision. Good luck and keep up the good work.

  • Tansi – I would love to wear this brand – some ideas – more v-necks – long sleeves for women – sweat shirts and pants (with tansi on the butt for women) – word for ‘peace’.
    Thanks.
